Resuming regular POW! comics here, we find Charlotte being paid a visit by a disturbed Tricia.
Turns out just this last week they FINALLY released a second trailer for the upcoming Power Rangers movie reboot, and...it's definitely better than the first.
It's less dark and has some jokes. Also, it finally gives good looks at Zordon, the Command Center, Alpha 5, the Putties, the Zords, Megazord...and that thing they're calling Goldar.
Still, knowing this is Hollywood and how deceiving trailers can sometimes be, it's confusing for Charlotte and Tricia, being big Power Rangers fans that they are, to know what to think right now.
At least Shana seems excited...
Well, can't blame the newer gens for being excited, given that this is their time.
And leave it to Hollywood to drop bombshells like that.
It is definitely something to take into consideration is that while these movies might hit nostalgic peoples' nerves, they're actually made for newer audiences in mind and get them to like a property.
It doesn't mean it always works though.
As long as the director KNOWS what Power Rangers are, right? I doubt they could repeat the mistakes done in dragon ball evolution. But that cant happen again right?
...we are screwed arent we?
I dunno... I have yet to see a director do a movie based off an old movie, TV show, or cartoon that seems to GET what the subject material is. They seem to take the basic cliff notes and go from there a lot of the time.
I'll be a little more optimistic with this movie after seeing the second trailer, but...I really think it's not going to be very good still. Not the level of bad as you put it, but no where near as good as it could be.
Hahaha shows a difference in the generation gap there! XDD
Definitely. Us adults that remember the original stuff see things we don't like in remakes/reboots, but kids of today see things they do like...which seems to be a lot of explosions and action with CG effects everywhere.
